Ottawa University is a not-for-profit, comprehensive 4-year liberal arts and professional studies university. Founded in 1865, Ottawa University has a residential campus in Ottawa, Kansas, and adult education campuses in Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri and Wisconsin, as well as multiple instructional sites. Online studies are also offered.

Ottawa University offers a variety of bachelor's degree programs, degree completion, and graduate programs through online and classroom-based program offerings.

In Arizona, Ottawa University features bachelor's degree majors in more than 17 disciplines including English, history, education, psychology, human services, health care management and business. An MBA and Master of Arts programs in human resources, professional counseling and education are also available.

Master's - Business Administration


Ottawa University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) has been developed to serve the needs of adult learners with high quality professional preparation in business incorporating personal values and professional ethics. The MBA program is offered both online and during the evening in a classroom setting for maximum flexibility.

At Ottawa University, we provide several options for graduate and post-graduate business study. In addition to our MBA program, students have the opportunity to gain more in-depth knowledge in specific content areas through completion of an MBA with a concentration area.

Master's - Human Resources


Our master's program in human resources is offered both online and during the evening in a classroom setting for maximum flexibility. Additionally, Ottawa University offers students the opportunity to gain deeper knowledge in a specialty area by completing the Master of Arts in Human Resources degree with one of four concentration areas.

All programs require a total of 36 semester credit hours with courses offered in 12-week terms. A personal graduation plan will be developed in conjunction with your faculty advisor and may vary based on prior credit granted.



Bachelor's - Business Administration


Ottawa University's business administration program is results-oriented and offers busy professionals an understanding of leading-edge, 21st century business practices. Focus areas include economics, accounting and finance, human resources, management, law and ethics--all presented in an atmosphere to challenge conventional thinking and expand analysis and problem-solving skills.

Ottawa University's health care management major is a unique program that combines face-to-face weekend sessions with online coursework. It promotes an understanding of the complex and continuously-evolving issues within an integrated health care system. You learn to analyze perspectives, methods and values associated with the delivery and financing of health services. Specifically designed to increase organizational insight and managerial ability, this major is most suitable for health care professionals who already possess technical/clinical degrees and certifications which can be applied toward the degree.
